Just when you thought there couldn't be any more remakes, we have FF1 for the Playstation. This version featured vastly enhanced music due to the better hardware capability of the Playstation compared to its predecessors. This version also has unlockable artwork and two difficulty settings.

It seems as though the Euro version got an FF1 cover, the warrior there being a universal Warrior or Light. (You'll understand if you know anything about the Final Smash Fantasy game coming out for the PSP.) where as In North America we seem t ohave gotten a FF2 cover, with Firion being show on the front.

I like the art on the North American cover far better than the art on the European cover. Well, I like the art in the foreground. The faded art in the background is superfluous and only serves to make the cover feel cluttered.

i like this version... the remixed music kinda sucks but you can otherwise make it so that it plays almost exactly like the NES version, which is nice to have if you dont have the cart
