I wonder how do you use the weapons special powers? like :O wizards staff that will cast fira? i need help like that >< i can't find any help on the psp version.

Those walkthroughs are in no way same with the PSP version of FF1!!!

Excuse me? how is it easier if the games are different? The psp version is differnt from the nes or gba version so stop talking like you know all Kalaschir without playing it.

Im so stuck and have been drifting for hours. The walkthroughs are differnt and the objectives are arn't the same.

So, you come to one of the best FF1 sites, made by a person generously giving of his time to provide free and fairly accurate information. Blatant name-calling and heckling is going to provide more incentive, I'm sure. *cue sarcasm*

Also, Yes, the games are similar enough. There are a few monster stats and spell formula that have been tweaked; But otherwise they will work.

The only thing that would warrant another walkthrough would be the new Dungeons. They are there to challenge the player... and it wouldn't be much of a challenge with a step-by-step chest-by-chest checklist.

But I understand. Even I want to do the "perfect run" every now and then. But do you realize that those of you who have been whining could have developed your own strategy/walkthrough by now instead of waiting on Brian?

Those that have used flaming or trolling remarks have shown that they are ten years old. If they are not, then they have shown how great their immaturity is.

Neef, thank you. I am glad to see that I am not the only one left with a right mind and some sanity. You make some very good points, and it would be best if every one just remembered that Brian is a person with a life that has already given up countlesshours for people he doesn't even know - us. He made and maintains this website because he loves the original final fantasy and it's remakes and wanted to share that love of it with others who thinks it is a great game. Take all of your ranting and raving some where else, so the decent people like Neef and Brian can have fun using this website for it's intended perpouse. Thanks Neef!

I thought the PSP version was identical.

All the versions of FFI are similar. The only difference between all of them are the graphics, magic system, translations, difficulty, and new stuff slapped on the GBA and PSP versions.

The GBA and PSP versions are exactly the same minus the new boss music, re-drawn graphics the new dungeon on the PSP. There's also a slight stat change on some of the bosses in the NES, PSX and portable remakes. Otherwise all FFIs are the same in terms of gameplay.

And for those complaining about the webmaster not writing the walkthrough, cut the man some slack. He can't just walk in the site and POOF, the walkthrough is written. You just have to be patient. Majority of these complainers probably never played the original FF or Dawn of Souls or whatever verion. A tip for all the whiners, go inside a gamestore or an electronics store like best buy and look for the guide in there. And read it instead of bugging someone to write a guide for you.

I've already beaten all 4 Soul of Chaos dungeons and now i'm in the last dungeon. If I can't remember where to go, i'll just be a good sport and look in the NES walkthrough, since the map layout has never changed for the past 21 years. Hell it worked for the Sky Fortress.

If there's still people willing to complain and whine about there not being a walkthrough, just google it. It's not that hard. Unless you have the brain of a fly.

Second Instead of Complaining why don't you write your own walkthrough or and/ finish the game yourself.
