These sprites disturb me, what with their cleanly-delimited fingers and hundreds of colors. It's like a freak show in here.
Battle and map sprites of the playable characters
Sprites of characters like Garland, Matoya, Unne, etc.
Miscellaneous guys from the towns and castles.
Brooms, bats, dragons, robots, mermaids, dwarves.
All the enemies and bosses.
The best page on this side of the internet.
It's true, these sprites seem way too polished to be Final Fantasy. It almost hurts how non-pixelated they are.
The players are too realistic. It makes them look worse.
On the other hand, then new eMeNies are pretty creepy.
Chaos in the NES version looked alot cooler :(
I agree
Love these! But I really wish you could get the other side views for the Playable Characters =\ But still awesome!
@celescole, i agree these are awesome
Who is my avatar?
i don't believe i've come across you yet, so i'll assume you're in the Labyrinth of Time....
Casts STOP, then pokes Dusklord 57 consecutive times. Upon resummation of time, these pokes are felt simultaniously in a single moment.
Holee crap! This site is smexy on Firefox!!!
LOL
I actually appreciate the PSP version's sprites. They're very polished. Especially the new bosses.
It's correct to assume that the townsfolk section is still incomplete, right?
Excuse me, but where/how did you get these sprites? Any chance I'm seeing FF II Anniversary sprites or a tool to rip them from the game?
I must know how these were ripped! I am desperately seeking FFII psp sprites. HELP
Check Brian's blog: http://briancarper.net/blog/475/spriting-and-learning
Scroll down, near the end he lists his process.
Damn. it seems the method brian used for ff1 won't work for FF2. I just assumed that the files were organized the same way.. sigh
really this couldnt come to the ds
all this graphic progress and we still have the two sprite overworld characters. I would really like people that stop walking in place.
Like what you did to the enemies, remides me of Ipod.
