Don't ask why I chose the closet. >:)
I choose Gaia nice and peaceful and out of the way
GAIA FTW!!!
Gaia has an above-average scholar population. It's the only choice, really.
I've always thought of Crescent Lake as a beautiful place to live
I'm an Elf Land man myself.
Welcome to Corneria!
Pravoka's good for pirates. Gaia's good for butt pirates.
Just thought I'd put that out there.
Have always found the legend of Lefein to be wildly intriguing. Maybe a few hundred years in the past.
Crescent Lake= Volcanic Risk area...
@ToastedSandwich8: only a small one
whats the place where the people think vampire is screwing with the earth?
@lord of fantasy: Isn't that Melmond, the town in the same area as the Earth Cave?
I like Lefein. If you put the White Wizard in the front of the party, it looks like he/she belongs there! Also, they have the best spells.
Dwarves are cool.
"AND MY AXE!"
dwarf cave ftw. rally ho!
Cresent Lake for me. Nice and peaceful. A beautiful lake. A bunch of sages to learn from. Onrac would have been my second choice.
I chose Melmond caus isn't that where unni lives?
@Neo: IDK that thats where he lives, but he spends a lot of time there. I can't remember off the top of my head, but doesn't he have a brother in Onlac?
Well looks like every place has a vote (oddly). Unfortunately, most of you are wrong, because the answer is Coneria. .
It is rather bizarre to see my doppleganger disagree with me.
Also, holy crap holy crap revelation: Onrac = Onlac (Japanese R/L switching) = On lake, i.e. on water. Daaaaaaaaaang.
LOL @ Black Mage. I think you may be the first person to make that connection between translations
Crescent Lake seems like a luxurious town. It has a moat, some good canoeing, near the sea, good hikin in the mountains, and full of successful industry. All the silver stuff those Elves work so hard for is sold there, and it's gotta have some great colleges with those sages. Good colleges mean good women.
There is no doubt, the Crescent is the place to live.
Or Pravoka, for the seaman in me.
Onrac and Onlac both come from オンラク. I doubt they derive from "on lake" since "on lake" is English and doesn't mean anything to Japanese people.
オンラク sounds would be "on rack" if you really wanted to squeeze English out of it. "on lake" would be オンレーク or something.
@Um... bonus points for innuendo.
Admittedly, I was thinking of Old English:
/*lacu*/ f /(-e/-a): stream; pool, pond/
And, mostly, French:
/*lac*/ noun, m /(a): lake/
(And a little bit Scottish: /*loch*/)
But of course, I'm just B.S.ing. :) オンラク would be closer to "own rock," or "own lock." Complete nonsense.
P.S. Wow, none of that formatting worked. Pourquoi?
P.P.S. I laughed dang hard at Um...'s double entendre.
I choose dwarf cave.
Crescent Lake has oodles to offer for the sightseer. If you get bored listening to crusty wobbly sages droning on about some "evil powers" and shiny glass balls, take your canoe just down the river to the local volcano! If you're lucky, not only can you dip your toesies into molten lava, but on the way you may run into the random alligator or a pack of piranas! If camping is what you crave, then trolls and scorpions out in the local forest are definitely man's best friends.....sigh. I get peaceful and happy just thinking about it.
cresant lake FTW
Im suprised brian didnt even mention my post
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who chose the broom closet
Elfland! Long live Link!!!
Well, after reading Namek's review on Crescent Lake, I'm going to make 1 for Gaia:
Gaia is located on the Northeastern end of the un-named world. It is a quiet and tranquil little town, with great mountainous views and on the relaxing hike to the summits of some of the world's most amazing mountain ranges, you will see the crystal clear ocean. For those of you who do not want to spend the whole day hiking just to see the ocean at the height of it's glamour, One should experience the wonder of the town itself. The town area takes in beautiful sunny plains, sparkly lakes and lush evergreen trees. The town's shopping may be expensive, but it's totally worth it. The townspeople are amazingly kind, and the inn is simply stunning. Apart from that, Gaia is a truly awesome name for a town. Tis' is THE place to visit, and if you are rich enough, live. Dreams and wonder await you at the pretty country town that is GAIA!
My review for melmond:
people do stuff there and Dr. unne is there
THE END
HAHAHA. Not bad.
Thank you toasted
Heh, "people do stuff there".... like stare blankly at hoardes of gravestones all day and weep at all the dead farmland.
But all places have their pros and cons ; )
You play with dynamite every day. I mean, come on.
3 people are probably spining R. Kelly's "Traped in The Closet" and Matoya is all "WHERE IS THAT COMEING FROM!!!???"
i chose melmond cuz the only one who could make CHAOS tremble at his awsomeness and pwnage-ness lives there.also,cuz i can
crescent lake seems like a peaceful place to live.
Why can not vote for the Temple of Fiends?
Why can not vote for the Temple of Fiends?
Gaia.
Melmond -- that way you have something to do! Rebuild the place, get a statue in your honor, etc :)
