hard to live early on, but 4 NUKEs per turn is awesome.

I would say fifty-fifty! They are awesome but the suck to

Quite strong early on when everything has low hp and little magic resistance, but this party scales worse than any other party in the game. Very low hp + no healing + Lich2 NUKE = overleveling required.

That being said, it is still a ton of fun :)

You have to level up this party to high levels at earlier places, or you will die easily.

This one doesn't suit my "tear 'em to shreds" policy... but I can appreciate the power of thirty-six NUKEs at one's disposal.

Death galore in the latter parts of the game. But as said, suicide in the early days.

"Walking Death Squad" in Elfland, yes. And the game is easy up 'til then too, but after the Earth cave, things are hard.

Everybody talks about 36 nukes, but if you play the game without powerlevelling, it's more like 16 TOPS, in the ToF.

Kary is practically impossible before class change, which feels like cheating, and the Water Temple and Sky Castles are long endurance and running tests. ToF too.
Most of the time, Nuke is closer to 250 Damage than 400 against Chaos. It's hard to live that long unless you level past 30, and anything after 30, of course, isn't worth talking about because the game's a cinch by then.
And if it isn't, then you have a weak party on your hands.

I only play this for the challenge and the amusement of actually having had played it.

As humiliating as it is to say it, I'd rather have 4 RWs.

Well at least 4 RWs would have rez, which they also need since they die almost as easily as black wizards
