Good party. My brother used this one a lot. Lets you use all the best equipment and magic.

Best one. Makes you able to end the game in a breeze.

I consider this the best party, easily, at least in the NES version. Fighters are way better than black belts and thieves, so you might as well have a second one instead of one of the others.

By far the easiest party to play with.

This game is more painful in the NES version because it's so expensive. In the remakes money grows on trees though.

Plus you never get to use the ninja-only equipment. But you get to make use of more/better armor with 2 fighters.

KILLERZ!!!

Meh.... the only reason i would use any party other than 8-bit theater is if i beat the game

This has always been my favorite party and the first one I play with whenever I pick up "the latest" version of Final Fantasy to be released.

Jan 18, 2010 03:38 PM PST

this makes the game a hellah alot easier and at the end both excalibur and masamune Chaos is dead in no time

Jan 19, 2010 04:50 PM PST

THis is the party I used a lot

Jan 20, 2010 04:39 PM PST

Uh-uh.

Jan 22, 2010 02:21 PM PST

A well-balanced, intimidating, hard-to-kill legion of head-slicing corpse-burning all-healing warriors. Best equipment AND magic? YES PLEASE!

Mmm... Pass.

So... The hard part is equipping a second Silver Sword in Elfland.

Oh no...

Then, ultimate weapons and magics and armors and stats for the rest of the game. This is, by far, the strongest party. NOTHING beats 2 silver swords. NOTHING beats both Opal and Dragon Armor. NOTHING beats Fade and Nuke back-up to fasted Xcalbur and Masmune in the hands of a Knight.

This is the "strongest" party, in my opinion, because it probably has the highest range of damage output AND survival capacity.

This is my third favorite party

My Favorite Group is this so far im new to the FF1 serise... The Site as well. Only thing i notice is that with this option you can only buy one spell After eq and weapons but after fighting imps arround the the city i get my gold and few exp...

Yeah, this is probably the most effective party, overall.

Pretty much the only thing not going for it is that it can't do *everything*, and it's not terribly interesting. But since no party combination can be 100%, this one becomes the gold standard by default.

The only reason I don't vote up is because it's not terribly interesting, imo.

How many would give the Masamune to the WM or the second fighter?

Mar 29, 2010 04:50 PM PDT

Second Fighter

Apr 25, 2010 11:16 AM PDT

So...much...grinding...just to get all the stuff you need.

Jun 11, 2010 06:06 PM PDT

A grindtastic yet effective party. Perhaps one of the least challenging to beat the game with.

Jun 25, 2010 03:07 AM PDT

This party is probably the best, 2 Fighters gives excellent defense and attack plus the two mages with their magic. In NES this party will be rather expensive, but you will have Masamune with one Fighter plus another one with Excalibur.

Jul 12, 2010 07:39 PM PDT

This team costs a lot, but on the other hand it will last longer than most and you do have more power.

Aug 04, 2010 09:21 AM PDT

ultimate team

Aug 30, 2010 05:10 PM PDT

This team is no more expensive than any other F/*/WM/BM party. Fighters are cheap. you find most of the armor you need any way. I always use coral/dragon/rune swords rather than a silver sword anyway. Its cheaper than a third mage and about the same as a thief.

Aug 31, 2010 10:32 PM PDT

This is definately the easiest way to beat the game.Although fighters do a little less damage than Bbelts, they have way better defense, and they can use magic after class change. As for this party being expensive, what the heck are you talking about? Read spacecowboy's comment. The game gives tons of equipment for fighters in chests. An all mage party is the most expensive. You can't find magic in chests! Why I like this party:

Fighter 1=Best defender,great attack.

Fighter2=Swap with Fighter 1 when he is weak.

White Mage=A must have for healing.

Black Mage=Kills em all and takes no prisoners.

But,I like a challenge,so I don't use this party anymore cause it's too darn easy!
