alex95 has posted on our very own forums about a sequel to FF1 that he has been developing using RPG Builder. There's a video and a couple of screenshots. More in the forum. It looks true to the NES FF1, with some graphical and gameplay updates.

I think the project looks pretty interesting. The ending to FF1 always seemed cryptic and somewhat unsatisfying to me. What was the world like 2000 years in the past? Could be interesting to explore that. Here's hoping this project actually finished, unlike so many fan attempts at FF1 remakes and spin-offs in the past.

Ah! For some reason, I previously misunderstood that this game is a SEQUEL. Lookin' good so far.

Ok...I'm sorry that my making a continued version of this game ruined your life, but I've worked on it this far, and this is what i get? I can't be dissapionted of course, because projects like this never get all positive feedback, but I'm still working on this game even if I'm not "professional"....

shut up k24, who asked you. also, 90% of games are made by "unprofessional" makers. Ex: armorgames, kongregate, addictinggames, maxgames, miniclip, thegamehomepage.
