I would have never thought to equip nunchucks to a Ninja

It's for completeness. How can you have nunchucks in the game and not let the Ninja equip them?
ive had all of them except CatClaw and Masamune. as of now anyway.
I beat the game with 4 Ninjas wielding Iron Nunchucks. It seemed dumb enough to work.
On another note: Rune Sword is my ultimate favorite. I would keep it long past it's actual usefulness.

agree about the dumb ninjas, but hey! what about the challenge? sounds hart to achieve

I'm thinking of putting the Masamune on my Black Mage when i get it, anyone else do this?
I was always dissapointed with Axes in this game, the only useful one being Light Axe with its Harm2. The others were just too inaccurate to be used.
Hand-Axe beats Short Sword.
Silver Axe beats Silver Sword, but there's no economical way to acquire it before the Flame Sword comes along.
Otherwise, Axes are pretty inefficient, yes.
The Great Axe is the biggest offender, appearing in the Titan's cave as a cool looking and sounding weapon that is simply, ah... useless.
