| Airship | The Airship Theme. Not much else to say. |
| Battle Theme | This is the music that plays during battles. Youre probably sick of hearing it 500,000 times while playing the game, but download it anyways. :) |
| Castle Coneria | The music that plays in Coneria Castle (and other castles). I like this song. But then again, I like all the songs. Whatyagonnado. |
| Dead Music | Sad music, plays when you die. Hopefully you didnt hear this song much while playing... |
| Dungeon Theme | This song plays in the Marsh Cave. I didnt like this song much... |
| Ending Theme | This song RULES! Its the song that plays when you beat the game. I love this song, man. I just love it. |
| Gurgu Volcano | Just like the name says, its the Volcano music. It's not a bad song... but it's not my favorite FF1 song, either. |
| Matoyas Cave | Theme used in Matoyas Cave, amongst other places. I like this song. |
| Menu Screen | The happy music that plays on the menu screen. Its happy music. Trust me. |
| Prelude | This is a great song, thats been in EVERY Final Fantasy in the series. It's the song that plays during the opening paragraph, and at the Save/Continue screen. |
| Prologue (opening theme) | If there is any one song you download, THIS should be it. This song is my all-time favorite; it too has been in every Final Fantasy in the series, in one form or another. Download this immediately, you wont be disappointed. |
| Sailing Ship | I really dont like this song much. But it's worth getting, if you want to complete your FF1 soundtrack collection. |
| Save Music | Really short music that plays when you save your game. (Dont forget to hold RESET while turning power off.) |
| Shop Theme | Doesnt this music just make you want to spend lots of money? ...didn't think so. |
| Temple of Fiends | This is yet another of the dungeon themes in FF1. FF1 sure did have a lot of wonderful dungeon themes.. |
| Temple of Fiends Revisited | The music from the Temple of Fiends of the past. |
| The Floating Castle | This is a kind of futuristic song that plays in the Sky Castle. I dont like this song much, but it's not that bad. |
| Town Theme | The ever-present song that plays in every town. Another nice relaxing song. This is kind of like an early predecessor to FF7s Kalm Theme, I think. |
| Victory Fanfare | The triumphant music that plays when youve killed all the bad guys. |
| World Theme | This is the music that plays on the World Map. Its nice and calm and relaxing. |
I just downloaded evrey song here! I'd like to thank whoever posted them, I've been looking for them for quite some time now! ^_^
You're welcome.
Like many other FF's, the Overworld theme is my favorite. That would be a nice poll, wouldn't it? Favorite Overworld music in any FF. I would vote for FF VI World of Balance.
The FF4 one is pretty tranquil and calm.
Another upvote for the FF4 map music. It's calm, but it has a certain melancholy energy to it that I like. The FF5 World 2 map music is also good for similar reasons.
IMO, FF4 has some of the best songs in the FF series (besides FF1).
But none can beat the superiorness of the Archadian Theme in FF12!
Rock on!
are you not breaking any copyrights here?
FFX just cause there was no ofical overword
The Temple of Fields Revisited Theme is so epic. I love it.
If we're still talking about other Final Fantasy games: Rose of May (Beatrix's Theme) from FFIX is beautiful and depressing.
>>Kain: Ssshhh!
Personal, all-time favorite from this list: Airship theme. Second: Ending Theme. Oh frik. Love the ending theme, you have no idea. No idea.
Runner-up: Temple of Fiends Revisited. Epic, indeed.
I love both temple of fiends songs
I would mind throwing in a couple of these toons into my upcoming wedding reception
"but download it anyways. :)"
I hope you don't have a bandwidth cap :P
an nothing beats the origional
Ah, the victory fanfare. FF won't be the same without it.
Menu screen makes me cry T_T
in a good way
I'll make an exception to my usual wsc/origins stuff is better here: I LOVE the ending theme, prologue, and TOF 2 here.
The town theme will forever be burned into my memory. It's just so beautiful in my opinion, I will never forget it.
I play some of these on my guitar.I mixed the prelude with temple of fiends for a cool song.It starts out like the prelude, then blends to temple of fiends.the prelude was cool but it's too repetitive.so i had to mix it up.Nobuo Uematsu would be impressed(or mad).
