That's called conforming without conforming. ie: lying. ie: giving the idiots who complain because they cannot open their minds beyond brainwashed boxes the finger.
Seriously. How can a box be brainwashed? How can a mind be opened beyond a box.
Can you box open a mind?
Or are boxes only used to entrap and contain?

Hmmmmmm. Warmech's name got changed to death machien??? well i guess thats more acurate....
I like how the animation is more filled in. It does give the monsters a more complete look.
The half fill, utilizing the black background to pick up the slack in the nes version was kind of, well, as I already said, slack.
I like some of the nes looks better, but I honestly can't bash this :(
where did the phantom train come from?
The Phantom Train is from FFVI :)
Yes. It's stupid.
Ugh. There are too many monsters now!
heh heh Gilgamesh....he is so badass
Playing Final Fantasy 1 on this system is not the same when the enemies are changed in look and name. (Imps - Goblins, Giants - Hill Gigas )
Going through this list I noticed that the White Shark is purple.
It's probably supposed to be grey.

We will perform a biopsy on your brain.
very extensive.
I still prefer the original NES sprites. Using the black background made the enemies more intimidating in my opinion.
It was darker and grittier. It matched the difficulty of the original quite well. It also created an atmosphere not seen again in Final Fantasy.
Even FF2 and 3 were a bit more 'cartoony' looking despite having the darkness.
Agreed. NES FF1 made it feel like you were always running for your life, because you WERE.
