Sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing some links. I know of a few other projects in the past where people tryied to re-create FF1 to some degree. One group was planning to redo the whole game as a Neverwinter Nights module. None of those projects got very far.

Its not a hack, but the party starts out at the entrance of the middle room in the chaos temple 2000 years in the past, thous continuing the 2000 year loop, but they somehow re-incarnated the memories of the light warriors, so they remember everything from the future.

Oh crap, are you redrawing this from scratch? And are you planning on running this via an emulator or separate .exe of some sort?

Actually, what I'd like to see is the use of the original NES chiptunes, but filling in extra tracks with the added tracks from the WSC (is this confusing?). Maybe this could be an extra option? Just a thought.

I like the sprite for the knight. It looks more like the fighter sprite, but the shield makes a difference.

Props for using FF3 tunage. I JUST got around to playing that one for the first time... this morning, actually, and the music struck me as being obscenely good for a NES game.

Huh, cool. I like the looks of it so far. Though I'd rather see classic FF1 BM sprite instead of a toned-down FFV Bartz Black Mage, being a retro nerd and all.

Yet again, I cant' stress enough for all of the help NPC has given me, he is responsible for 90% of the maps (i made a couple for an addition to the game)(TOF, and the shops) !MAJOR CREDITS TO NPC!

do they start out class changed seeing as how theey are technically class changed in final fantasy?

I thought I would make the class sytem like that, so u can still change into a party consistant of Figter, Figter, etc. and later you can decide you want BlackM, BlackM, etc., so it's like a chance to change into a different class, so u can try all of them out :)

@lord of fantasy Chrono Trigger fansequel that recently (May 09) got C&D'd. Third Chrono thing to get a C&D from Square Enix, all three from pretty much the same reason: Being well-known enough for it to be a problem.
